     1.     Why are you interested in the position of Senate Assistant?

 

 

     2.     What is your perception of the responsibilities and day-to-day activities of the Senate Assistant?

 

 

     3.     Do you work best alone or with a group of associates?

 

 

     4.     Describe the decisions you could make on your own and which you referred to your supervisor.

 

 

     5.     Can you give us some examples that would demonstrate your organizational skills?

 

 

     6.     Give some examples where you have done things on the job or as a volunteer that demonstrate your initiative.

 

 

     7.     What can you tell us about your word processing skills and experience, including speed and accuracy?

 

 

     8.     Describe the kinds of correspondence you have written on your own initiative.

 

 

     9.     What is your experience in creating or adding to/editing web pages?  If none, what experience do you have that suggests this is something you could learn in a reasonable period of time?
