We are now located in our new office in downtown Houghton at the Michigan Tech Lakeshore Center (formerly the UPPCO building). For directions and a map to the Lakeshore Center please click here. Representatives from the student insurance office will be on campus during the following times on a weekly basis: Mondays 3pm - 5pm Thursdays 10am - noon We will be located in the administration building, Room 206A. The Student Insurance Office facilitates the Michigan Tech University student health insurance plan for all students who are not covered by a family or other health insurance policy. Michigan Tech's students, spouses and children are eligible for enrollment. All graduate and international students are required have health insurance. This can be accomplished by purchasing the health insurance policy through the University, or, provide proof of comparable coverage applicable in the United States. Enrolled students can purchase the insurance directly from their BANWEB accounts.
