Smiths-Aerospace
Grand Rapids, Michigan

Approximately 100 people attended the second annual Michigan Tech Spotlight Night on another beautiful spring night in May.  This event was again held at Smiths-Aerospace in Grand Rapids.  (A very special THANK YOU to Mike DeJonge of Smiths-Aerospace for allowing us to use the space).  The event was another success, with several exhibits, displays, MTU alumni, faculty and staff on hand.

The purpose of the Spotlight Night programs is to introduce prospective students to Michigan Tech.  The event showcases the seven interest areas of study: Arts and Human Sciences, Business, Computing, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Sciences, and Technology, along with showcasing various Enterprise and Senior Design projects.  Prospective students and guests including parents, teachers and counselors were welcomed and encouraged to attend.
