This was our fifth annual evening with the Grand Rapids Griffins.  The first two periods of play were intense and ended with a 1-1 tie.  But the Griffins pulled away with two quick goals with 6 minutes left in the third period.  The Griffins sealed the win with an empty net goal with 2 minutes left in regulation to beat the Rochester Americans.  A group of 72 alumni, family and friends enjoyed snacks, a free raffle for MTU stuff, a free Griffins souvenir, a $5 food voucher, and socializing with other MTU alumni.  Another GREAT alumni event!
