Our first annual Alumni Night with the Grand Rapids Griffins took place Friday evening, February 8, 2002 at the VanAndel Arena in Grand Rapids. Prior to the game, we all enjoyed refreshments in the group events room, and everyone in attendance received a free T-shirt! It was also NASCAR night at the VanAndel, and racing legend Bobby Allison was there to sign autographs (click on the picture below) and join in the festivities. We had a great turnout, and are planning a similar event for next year.
